Digital tachograph in lower DIN slot in the centre console.
Information on driver activity and vehicle use is electronically saved in an internal mass storage unit in the device and on a new driver card (white).
In addition to the familiar functions, the digital tachograph also records faults and any attempts to tamper with the tachograph and pulse generator.
The vehicle speed for the last 24 hours driven is stored, accurate to the second.
Prescribed by law (in the EU) in vehicles which are used commercially to transport goods and have a permissible GVW, including trailer, which exceeds 3.5 t and also in buses with more than 8 passenger seats.
