In the Mercedes-Benz BABY-SAFE 3 i_SIZE infant seat, babies from birth up to an age of 15 months (approved in accordance with GB 27887-2011 for children from 40 to 83 cm, up to a body weight of 13 kg) are safe and comfortable on the road. The transportation of the baby against the direction of travel offers a good support for head, neck and back during normal journeys and in the event of an accident. The upholstery used helps to relieve the particularly vulnerable body areas of infants. The Mercedes-Benz child seat program is also regularly checked with regard to the restraint effect and quality through extensive crash tests, and it is specially designed for use in Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The sun shade with UPF 50+ sun protection protects the child against wind and sunlight. The grab handle, adjustable in 3 ways, can be operated with one-hand only meaning the baby can be placed easily into the infant carrier. The head restraint is height-adjustable and the backrest can be moved to a fully reclined position. The exclusive design of the outer cover in anthracite and beige, devised by our Mercedes-Benz designers and made from high-quality materials, not only blends perfectly into the interior of the vehicle, it can also be removed and washed. Replacement covers are available separately. Changing from the vehicle to the pram is possible in no time at all: the Mercedes-Benz BABY-SAFE 3 i-SIZE fits all Britax prams and, using adapters, many other common prams as well. The child seat is made in Germany.
